Charlene Addy McGee, AWC Vice President

Charlene was born in Liberia and migrated to Portland, Oregon with her family sixteen years ago to escape the brutal civil war in her native land. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health from Oregon State University. She is also the immediate past president of the Portland National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, an active member of the Portland Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta, and member of the Urban League of Portland Young Professionals. Charlene is a community activist who is driven by the zest to serve as a catalyst for change and remains committed to addressing disparities in all facets especially those that affect disenfranchised populations.
